While you play you have to follow the information at the top of the screen which indicates remaining lives, your score, and progress. The lives field shows how many Pacman’s you have left. You start the game with 3 lives. Every time you or your block path touch a ghost, you lose a life. The score field shows your total score for the game which you gain while filling the screen with blue boxes. The progress field indicates your progress toward the 80 percent that you need to pass the level.
